MedCore Diagnostics

MedCore Diagnostics was running a patchwork network across four Toronto-area clinic locations — a mix of consumer-grade routers, unlabelled cable runs, and no centralized management. Staff experienced daily connectivity drops during peak hours, patient check-in systems timed out regularly, and the IT team had no visibility into which location was causing issues. A failed audit flagged the infrastructure as non-compliant with healthcare data security standards.

Dandee Digital conducted a full site survey across all four locations and designed a unified SD-WAN architecture with centralized management. We pulled new Cat6A runs throughout each clinic, installed managed switches and enterprise-grade access points, and labelled every cable run to ANSI/TIA-606 standards. All work was scheduled in evening and weekend shifts to avoid disrupting patient care. A single pane of glass dashboard now gives the MedCore IT team real-time visibility across all sites.

Network uptime improved from approximately 94% to 99.8% within the first 30 days. Patient check-in system timeouts dropped to zero. The infrastructure passed the healthcare compliance audit on first submission. MedCore has since engaged Dandee Digital for ongoing managed network monitoring across all four locations.
